Saturday, July 4, 2015. I've decided the Fourth of July is my favorite holiday. Christmas is pretty amazing but the fourth includes fireworks, no need to buy/receive gifts (not that I don't love exchanging gifts, it can just be stressful at times), summer weather and everyone pretty much celebrates the same way so there is no drama in that department. I love everything wrong about this photo. Jet boat splash in action. The new camera Jared had to buy for school is underwater. My dreams have come true!

Friday, March 21, 2014. We had a kid! It's crazy and shocking and awesome and hard in a billion different ways. I'm just going to post pictures because my brain isn't working and a well thought out blog post is not at the top of my list of things to do. Mostly I want to sleep.and relax, sitting without thinking is golden. So, bare minimum:. Amelia Lucille (Because we like it and Lucille is her Great-Great-Grandma's name). Wednesday, October 24, 2012. So these pictures were taken almost two months ago. Woops.but they are fun and they are making me miss family even more :(. We went to the Japanese Gardens in Portland and we went for free with a library pass you can check out (which ended up being good because I probably wouldn't have paid to get in.they were cool, in a free kinda way). Also sorry I just keep putting up old stuff and just pictures. I've grown lazy and pictures tell a better picture than I could right now.

Saturday, March 14, 2015. Amelia is one. That is just insane. This has by far been the best year of my life and the hardest, but that makes it the best right? Swings both ways. I'm bias but she really is crazy funny and a really content little girl. Loves food, obviously, hamburger being a pretty consistent love. Talks most of the day but does not associate any sounds with specific things. Loves to sit on the fireplace and read books by herself. Laughs at her own jokes. Loves to be scared.a lot.
