Colorado National Monument (National Monuments are essentially the same as a National Park but are created by presidential decree rather than an act of congress). Arches NP and Canyonlands NP, UT. Great Basin NP, NV. A few of these are smaller National Parks or Monuments I had not heard of till recently. Part 2 family togetherness. Part 3 father daughter bonding.
