Challenge for greater distances. Saturday, October 16, 2010. A long rest before a run. Today, just run a 7 rounds at PISA with a slow speed plus a 4 rounds of walking. Its really a relaxing exercise today after almost 2 weeks of non or little exercies and runs. The problem lies on the knee. everyday can feel the pain. Lowest mileage for the week and dont know what happend during next month PBIM. Want to buck up next week? Tommorrow, CITY Run, can achieve last year's timing? Its difficult but a challenge.

Another long hike and the 1st for this year after meniscus tear in Jan 2010 while on the hike from teluk bahang. Yesterday attempt on the chin farm route to penang hill is much further than teluk bahang route. Quite interesting but need to be the sweeper for the group. SG ARA running buddy. Challenge for greater distances. Sunday, October 03, 2010. Did not perform to expectation compared to last 2 years. This year, lack of training and had a knee operation in April, yet to recover. Results are as below comparatively :. 2007 - 54mins 49secs. 2008 - 51mins 09 secs. 2009 - 50mins 09 secs. 2010 - 52mins 10 secs. Hope to get better results next year. SG ARA running buddy. SG ARA buddy: Good mileage so far for this year

Challenge for greater distances. Sunday, November 14, 2010. Good mileage so far for this year. This week, manage a total of 50km distance over a period of 5 days. The highest so far in past 6 months. With 2 days regular morning exercise, manage a 11km on Thursday, hike up Penang Hill for 10km and final LSD of 16.5km today. Inspite of muscles pain, I think should be able to survive next Sunday PBIM. Timing will be definately slower than last year due to lack of practice of tempo run. SG ARA running buddy.

Challenge for greater distances. Wednesday, December 08, 2010. Back to Back Half Marathon 2010. This is the first time I ran a back to back half marathon - PBIM and SCSM. 21st November - run the Penang Bridge International Marathon - time 1:59:25. 5th December - run the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon - time 2:06:27. Both times, the legs really gets pain with black toes nails, need to rest up to 4 days to recover. No photo available for PBIM, some photo for SCSM. SG ARA running buddy.
