Making such a life changing decision to emigrate, is not as clearcut as sitting down considering all the aspects and doing it there and then. Trisa Hugo se lewe het baie draaie geloop in vele beroepe, maar uiteindelik het sy haar hartsplek gekry. Sy bedryf ‘n gastehuis in Kleinmond en teken prentjies met ‘n stokkie op die strand wat dan waar word. Sy het haar lewe lank gewerk, nou speel sy bietjie – met verf en kwaste, maar veral met woorde.
