The Heritage Trust Trophy is awarded to the Roughyeds' man-of-the-match for each Law Cup encounter vs. old foes Rochdale Hornets. One of the stars of the successful 1950s team, Dick joined Oldham in 1953 after having a sparkling career at Huddersfield, his hometown club, where he scored 106 tries in 100 games. Almost an ever-present during his time with the club, he made 213 senior appearances for Oldham between 1953 and 1958 scoring 119 tries and kicking 28 goals which included nine in a match against Blackpool in November 1956. Since then it has appeared in the 1998 Trans-Pennine Cup Final, the 2001 Nothern Ford Premiership Grand Final and in the last four National League 2 Grand Finals. Club Honours and Records.
