Friday, June 30, 2006. Catching Up with Bud. In the afternoon, we got a video call in to one set of grandparents. They hadn't seen Bud in a while, and really enjoyed playing with him. They have a couple of picture books that they read to him, and also enjoy playing peek-a-boo, and 'point to a facial feature'. They demonstrated patty-cake for Bud, who watched very carefully. Sunday, April 30, 2006. I woke with Bud at about 7:30 this morning. He was in good spirits when I picked him up from his room, but got very concerned when he discovered our houseguest, my good friend Rob, set up in his playroom. Friday, March 31, 2006. The weather, of course, isn't helping. I heard that in the Bay Area a record was broken this month which had been in place since 1904 for the number of rainy days in March: the new record is 25. Ugh. I haven't gotten to see the boys in action at taekwondo for a couple of months, because SwingDaddy's new office is close to the studio and he is usually the one who swings by.
