We are a class of 5 year olds at Goodwood School in Cambridge, New Zealand. We love learning and sharing our learning with others. What a wonderful day we had at the Teddy Bear's Picnic yesterday. Our teddies sure had a great day at school. We made them chairs to sit on. Our Teddy Bears loved the running races too. We invited some new friends and their families. Our new friends will be starting at Goodwood School next year. We are looking forward to them being Goodwood Explorers with us. Hine and the Kids.

Being a Goodwood Explorer. Tuesday, December 6, 2016. At the zoo there were many animals to look at. The peacock waved it's feathers at us. It tickled Eilis. Saoirse saw lots of circles and she thought it almost made a pattern. Rhinos look strong and heavy but they can run really fast. Gosh they must eat a lot of food. Being a Goodwood Explorer. Wednesday, March 16, 2016. We are so clever with drawing to help us solve problems! When you start with 4 and add another 3 you get 7. Ask me to write you a number sentence. Harriet and Saoirse worked together to draw in groups of 2. We were really excited when we were doing our Maths. Being a Goodwood Explorer. Thursday, September 8, 2016. Our challenge was to build a bridge using sticks, tape and blocks to get the Gingerbread Man across the river so he didn't need the fox. What do you think? Is it going to work? We built bridges that could help the Gingerbread Man to cross the river without having to go on the fox's back. At first some of our bridges didn't reach across the river so we had to have another think about this and make some changes to our plans. Monday, September 5, 2016.
