The inspiration for our run comes from Jodi Farris, 53, mother of Walter and Abigail. She was born in Elgin, IL and has lived in Woodstock, IL for more than 30 years. She was a volunteer coach and has contributed countless hours and funds for her children's athletic, musical and personal activities. She has been a benefactor for numerous fundraising endeavors and has supported Woodstock North with her generosity. She has always given freely of herself and is an inspiration to all who know her.

Update: Jodi Farris lost her battle with multiple sclerosis on January 14, 2015, at the age of 54. A memorial gathering will be from 11 am to 5 pm Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at the Schneider Leucht Merwin and Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock, IL. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
