RUN – WALK. History of Running Down GBS. How Your Support Helps. 2014 – Scott Clubine. Scott Clubine was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome in August of 2014. His symptoms became so dire that he was Lifeflighted from Fayetteville, AR to Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City. After being on the ventilator for three and a half weeks they made the choice to come to Madonna in Lincoln for ongoing therapy. Scott is back to work full time and continues to improve at home in Arkansas.

RUN – WALK. History of Running Down GBS. How Your Support Helps. 2013 – Ben Yelkin. The doctors administered different treatments but the disease kept progressing. I completely lost the use of my legs and most of my arms within the first week at the hospital. I lost the remaining use of my arms, I was unable to sit up on my own, the right side of my face was paralyzed and finally my diaphragm was weakened to the point that I was put on a ventilator December 26th.

Monday, March 28, 2011. Update from Navajo Nation. Well my well of emotions for which I felt the need to chronicle publicly has apparently dried up for awhile. Once you stop blogging, it is hard to restart. Clinical rotations have been awesome and time consuming. I get the pleasure of paying to go to work every day and then additionally have the responsibility of coming home and studying at night.
