For a fit, healthy life. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. September 9, 2013. That was a tough race! I knew the Pacific Coast Duathlon. Would be a challenge as soon as I arrived in Laguna Beach. The Pacific Coast Highway was hilly! Then I saw the course at the Expo, which consisted of a lot of sand and even more hills. On the plus side, I do have to say the course was stunning! Photography courtesy of the Bear. Who is a master behind the lens! Yeah, that was fun! That guy is my hero!

For a fit, healthy life. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Rock n Roll Las Vegas: Strip at Night. November 18, 2013. Hello from Las Vegas! I’m still here enjoying all the wonders Vegas has to offer, aka food, drinks, shopping, and shows! Last night I ran the Rock n Roll half marathon on the strip with my college friend Brittan and it was truly thrilling. Having awesome bands play throughout the course doesn’t hurt matters either. http://www.smalltownrunner.com/2015/01/trail-I-was-bound-to-find.html
Thursday, January 1, 2015. NYE Run The Trail I Was Bound to Find. On New Year's eve we had some beautiful (but cold for here), weather. This road is only minutes from my house. I have driven past the access road hundreds of times but never went up it until a few days ago, when I figured out it is actually pretty runnable! Congr...

I gave it my all. Not really sure where to start here. Eagleman chewed me up and spit me out. But that’s Okay. The truth is, I needed a race. Before the big show, my ‘A’ race. Looking back over my past six years of racing, I’ve never had a tough weather race. I’ve had tough courses but in perfect conditions. I’ve had easy courses in perfect conditions Never really had TOUGH conditions. I’m talking 95 degrees with 100% humidity (Heat Index was 106 degrees that day! My husband, Todd asked me after Eagleman:.
