Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Two New 400k Routes. As you know, last year's floods affected canyons used by the Lefthand 400k and St. Vrain 400k loops. Several events are affected:. 400k/600k on May 17. 400k on June 7. 400k/600k/1000k on June 21. So here are a couple of ideas for new 400k routes we could use this year. Monday, November 24, 2014. Evergreen Escapade Permanent # 865. This ride has great variety as it starts near downtown Denver, climbs to the Peak to Peak highway, passes through the gambling towns of Black Hawk and Central City, stops in Conifer, and finally returns to down town Denver via Evergreen and Golden. Thursday, August 28, 2014. Rando/Ultra Vortex on the James Canyon Jaunt. It's always a treat to ride the James Canyon Jaunt 200k Permanent. Especially when it's a recovery ride after Cathy Cramer's Bishop Castle 207k Perm. But what an enhanced treat to encounter friends from the ultra and rando worlds at seemingly every turn!
