Aaron, Erin, Hayden, Chloe and Ellie. Thursday, September 15, 2011. We went to Prescott for a weekend in June. We of course had to climb Thumb Butte. But we ain't there yet! Back to the hike. Hayden and AC were thwarted from going to the tippy top by mating Eagles or something, so they had to stay down with the rest of us weaklings. It was a great hike anyway- and a fun family tradition! I don't actually have many pictures of the boys because as soon as daylight hit, they scattered into the woods to play boy games- usually involving sticks, sound effects and pinecones. They would return to eat, then leave again until dark or so. Hayden is holding the rope for the rope swing that was set up Saturday night. Since the kids were off to school I thought I would take Addie for a morning of pampering toddler style. She had her hair shampooed, cut, then topped off with a blow dry and glitter hair spray. She has no fear but yet couldn't quite get it. One afternoon I ran to the grocery store, well it was about an hour because I always run into multiple people there (Merritt and Natalie this time). When I got home, Andre yelled for me to come outside to watch Addie. Oh, and guess what? She was swimming the entire pool by herself. Really?

Addie helped by making a pile under the tree of ornaments, it was so funny. Dilan and Haylee hung so many ornaments this year. I basically did the top of the tree and unwrapped them.
