In keeping with the farm theme, last Sunday we took Nick to the Traders Point Creamery. Looking forward to cooler temperatures and fall weather, definitely my favorite season! And, the one year mark from meeting our sweet Nicholas. I am trying a Bubbleshare slide show in lieu of pictures, just too lazy to load them all up. Hope you like it! We had our f...

Voice of the Voiceless: Going so well

http://voicelessorphans.blogspot.com/2012/02/going-so-well.html

Voice of the Voiceless. Thursday, February 2, 2012. As poetic as it would be to leave that last post as my last post, there are still things out there to say. I didn't want to leave everyone hanging as to how Melia has been now that she's home. Let me just say that of the 4 children I have, this little girl has been the most delightful and easiest baby during the "first week home". She doesn't fit any adoption book or story that I've ever heard of. The only one who seems to having to tough go of it is ou...

Voice of the Voiceless. Friday, October 14, 2011. We got our LOA! The LOA is a letter of acceptance from China that moves us one step closer to bringing Melia home! On Monday we can now send in a form to the USCIS for another approval from our government to bring Melia home. Our agency estimates travel to China in 3 MONTHS! That means we could be meeting our little one and a half year old right after the first of the year! Our life is going to be turning upside down very soon! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Voice of the Voiceless. Thursday, February 16, 2012. Often times we hear her singing through the monitor for 10 or 15 minutes before she falls asleep! Wow One great kid. Lately, she's been trying so hard to talk. She wants to tell us so many things, but can't quite do it. But with the help of baby signs and lots of pointing, we've been figuring it out.
