maruski creates: Flowers!!!
http://maruskicreates.blogspot.com/2012/10/flowers.html
Creature of Cute Things. This week was a leap- to flowers! I feel quite comfortable with turning the glass and getting more even now. These were so much fun to make. The one with the sort of sunflower coloring did break down the middle, so I fussed it as best I could- but it is a bit off. This flower was my favorite. I was supposed to be making candy, but I did not have much of the larger diameter glass rod to work with, so the candy I started to make turned into this pendent like item.

maruski creates: Block for Regina
http://maruskicreates.blogspot.com/2012/10/block-for-regina.html
Creature of Cute Things. This block is for Regina, a brilliant artist and wonderful person. Her specifics were Kona Black and something circular. I do wish that the background batik was a pink, but I am also happy to have this ready to mail. I am very excited to see how her quilt turns out. December 13, 2012 at 8:02 AM. Regina will love it, pink or not. We missed you at our holiday meeting last night. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Thank you for stopping by!

maruski creates: Entrelac Cowl
http://maruskicreates.blogspot.com/2012/10/entrelac-cowl.html
Creature of Cute Things. Last Wednesday my glass class was canceled due to lack of oxygen, so I found my way to a supply store instead. I walked away with Rosemary Drysdale's Entrelac: The Essential Guide to Interlace Knitting. Now, I have finally used the yarns that I got in England three years ago! I created this cowl from the basic instruction on how to enterlac. I am hooked on knitting again, which I did not think would happen anytime soon. December 13, 2012 at 8:12 AM. Creature of Cute Things. This little blue fellow is the first of my fleece creatures to be realized. I have sketched out several templates just waiting to be created! Links to this post. Twisted Color Pendents and Whatnot. I also attempted a marble. The more spherical side is featured in the photo. The other side might be a bit of a cheat in an old fashion game of marbles. http://maruskicreates.blogspot.com/2012/10/cubby-cat.html
Creature of Cute Things. Hello Humanbeast, please love me.' This little friend was inspired by a softie, my friend made me years ago. The pink on pink stitching and cat-ness of it all. Stuffing the little ears did take a few tries, but that is just how it goes. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I love to create and enjoy making custom work for others.
