ARCHITECT: Seaver Franks Architects. In 1986, Robert Boucher collaborated with Mike Franks of Douglas Seaver and Associates in Tucson, Arizona, to create a facade for a modern office building. The concept addressed the use of a modern window wall grid system that provided a contemporary sense of space for its occupants but was grounded in masonry and wore a facade that tipped its hat to the regional traditions of the area. 1988-1990 St. Thomas in the Foothills. Architect: Seaver Franks Architects. The St. Thomas in the foothills church interior fitments arose as a collaboration with Rory McCarthy Design to create an altar, ambo, baptismal font, tabernacle, and the 14 stations of the cross in cast stone. These architectonic pieces relate to the larger geometry and symbolism of the Tucson Catalina Foothills Church designed by Seaver Franks Architects. Altar showing a cylinder within an octagon. 1993 El Conquistador Water Restoration. In 1993 the city of Tucson contracted Robert Boucher and Associates to restore the deteriorating plaster elements on the Historic El Conquistador water tower. The original plaster of paris elements were reinforced with jute and sealed with linseed oil and painted. While this method of casting lasted 50 years, by 1993 the debris from the crumbling sculptural elements were becoming a hazard. DETAILS OF THE LOWER ENTRY.
