My Thoughts: LOTR - the continuation
http://srivsank.blogspot.com/2012/02/lotr-continuation.html
Tuesday, February 14, 2012. LOTR - the continuation. My previous post *had* to have a follow on. Watched the trilogy and I'm in awe. When the Fellowship Of The Ring ended, I was like. where, what, how and I immediately started watching The Two Towers. What the movies lack in detail (that I previously mentioned) they more than make up for it in awesomeness. One word to describe the movies #Epic. View my complete profile. A Journey Called Life. My Thoughts: Classical music and then some
http://srivsank.blogspot.com/2011/09/classical-music-and-then-some.html
Sunday, September 04, 2011. Classical music and then some. Good music is music that moves us. Be it any genre, a music piece that stirs a certain emotion (or more than one) is something that we listen to over and over again. A friend recommended the book An Equal music by Vikram Seth. It is a story about a love affair between two successful musicians who meet after a decade of separation. I love the way the lady plays the piano so beautifully and effortlessly. My Thoughts: Downton Abbey Theme
http://srivsank.blogspot.com/2012/03/downton-abbey-theme.html
Saturday, March 10, 2012. Watching Season 2 of Downton Abbey. Such an exceptional show with strong characters, a beautifully woven storyline, great acting and this amazing theme music. Positive is the way to think, ahead is the direction to look in, obstacles many are sure to be, to accept it all and move on is what it takes to be me! View my complete profile. My Thoughts: There's So Much to See
http://srivsank.blogspot.com/2006/09/theres-so-much-to-see.html
Tuesday, September 12, 2006. There's So Much to See. The title of this post has been inspired by Rahman's line in the worldspace ad :). After a very long wait ( of 8 months) I finally took a week's vacation. Planned to visit Delhi and. Ranchi (where appa is working), go around, see a few places, rest, enjoy and get back. Saturday morning 2nd Sep we left for Delhi, the flight was delayed by an hour and a half.(what's new about that). First impression about Delhi - Clean, Green, Spacious! From there we dro...

My Thoughts: Weekend Getaway
http://srivsank.blogspot.com/2009/07/weekend-getaway.html
Monday, July 20, 2009. Bheemeshwari - A getaway about a 100 kilometers from Bangalore. Best known for - Fishing and nature camps. Activities include - Camping by the riverside, Coracle ride, Trekking, Rappelling. My thoughts - A perfect weekend getaway. Away from all the noise and commotion. All that you hear is the river flowing by, the birds chirping and the insects buzzing. Wake up to hear the rain, smell the air fresh and green, laze around on hammocks/swings by the river. Jungle Lodges and Resorts.

My Thoughts: LOTR
http://srivsank.blogspot.com/2012/02/lotr.html
Saturday, February 11, 2012. Confession #1: I have not watched the LOTR movies. I do have a valid reason for this, which brings me to. Confession #2: I have not read the LOTR books. Point to be noted: I didn't want to watch the movies until I had read the books. A wise person once told me that I should not wait until I finished the book - to watch the movie, for I would be disappointed. Taking his word, I'm watching the movie now. The movie sure has sped through and missed out on so many details. But...

My Thoughts: NY - A city of arts, music, dance and more...
http://srivsank.blogspot.com/2007/11/phantom-of-opera.html
Saturday, November 10, 2007. NY - A city of arts, music, dance and more. Some street dancing at Central Park. Man were they good! Every single day as I skimmed through the Arts section of the newspaper. I realised what we were missing out on. One of the highlights of my trip was a broadway show called The Phantom of the Opera. I was completely awestruck. I have never seen, heard or experienced anything as beautiful as this. I am so glad I went. The Phantom of the Opera. Ooopsand abt the video. here t...

http://srivsank.blogspot.com/2012/03/tiffany-alvord.html
Friday, March 23, 2012. In this age of social media explosion, I am simply amazed by the amount of content being created and made available through music and video discovery tools. Today's find: Tiffany Alvord. Great voice. and she does look a little like Emma Watson - no? My Thoughts: Goodbye 2007... the trip to Coorg
http://srivsank.blogspot.com/2008/01/goodbye-2007-trip-to-coorg.html
Saturday, January 05, 2008. Goodbye 2007. the trip to Coorg. Should we leave at 6AM or should it be 7AM was the question of the hour. late night Dec 29th 2007. We finally left at 7AM (what more can you expect from us. the lazy bunch). We stopped over at one of the restaurants on Mysore road for breakfast and then it was non stop ride up to Bylukuppe. After booking the cottage for the next 2 days, off we went to Raja Seat, the sun-set view point. Once it is dark, the roads get deserted. Its pitch dark...
