Their hearts were touched, tears were shed and souls were inspired! The ambiance of the exhibit is enhanced by the presence of plants and music. A few chairs are placed throughout the exhibit to allow visitors to sit and reflect on the beautiful quilts around them. Below is just a small sampling of the wonderful quilts which have been included in our past shows. Sacred Threads - Call for Entries

CaLl For Entries for 2017 will open October 2016. This biennial exhibition was established to provide a venue for quilters of all faiths who see their work as a connection to the sacred and/or as an expression of their spiritual journey. The first exhibit was held in 2001 and the exhibit is held in June of odd numbered years. Our next exhibit is July 7-23, 2017 and will be held outside Washington DC. Quilt should have a minimum perimeter of 80and maximum of 288(sum of all sides). Exhibits are not eligible.

I printed several comic book covers onto fabric today. I am almost finished cutting the body etc. of the bag. Tomorrow I need to cut the lining and soft interfacing and start assembling the bag. I asked the person getting the bag to send me pictures of some of his favorite books and that is how the covers were chosen that are to be used for the bag.
