Friday, January 29, 2010. Big Gooseberry - 25 or 1 packet(one packet of frozen Big gooseberry) Salt - 1tbsp. Chilli powder - 1tbsp. Mustard seeds - 1/2tsp. Lemon juice - 1tbsp. Fenugreek seeds - 1/2tsp. Asafoetida Powder - few pinches. If using the frozen gooseberries, thaw the gooseberry for a minute in the microwave. Chop the gooseberries. Keep it in a separate mixing bowl. Mix in salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, fenugreek powder and mustard powder, asafoetida powder and lemon juice to gooseberries.

Sunday, July 24, 2011. Okra - 250 gms. Tomatoes (puree) - 4. Ginger-Garlic paste - 1 Tsp. Coriander Powder - 1 Tsp. Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp. Kasuri Methi - 1 Tsp. Garam Masala Powder - 1 Tsp. Oil - 5-6 Tbsp. Cilantro (chopped) for garnishing. In a pan, take 2-3 tbsp Oil and fry the okra. Remove them from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, add more 2-3 tbsp oil and fry onions. Once the onions become soft, add ginger-garlic paste and sauté. Add coriander powder, red chilli powder and sauté again.

Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Ash gourd (Chopped) - 1 cup. Note: Ash gourd is also known as Winter melon). Ginger (Grated) - 1 tbsp. Yogurt – 2 tbsps. Pepper - to taste. Cilantro (Chopped) - few. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp. Curry leaves - few sprigs. Mix grated White Pumpkin, grated ginger and yogurt. Add salt and pepper to the mixture. Add oil in the pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Once it splitters, add it to the mixture. Mix all the ingredients well and garnish with cilantro. Snake gourd(Chopped) - 1.

Monday, October 3, 2011. 250 gms paneer (cubed and lightly fried till brown in a tsp of ghee). 3 big bunches spinach. 1 ½-2 tbsp ghee. 1 tsp fennel seeds. 2 onions finely chopped. 2 green chillis slit length wise. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste. 1 tsp red chilli pwd. 2 big juicy tomatoes. 189; tsp garam masala pwd (make a pwd of 2 cloves, 1 cardamom and 1" cinnamon stick). In a pan, steam Palak(Spinach), Ginger garlic, Onion, Green chillies for 5 mins. Add red chilli pwd and combine well.
