Monday, August 10, 2009. Starbucks goes for a local vibe. So I'm wondering up 15th today headed to Starbucks to grab a coffee when I realize it seems to have disappeared and in it's place is a new spot called "15th Ave Coffee and Tea". Which turned out to be one of Starbucks new "Inspired by Starbucks" stores. Friday, December 19, 2008. Seattle paralyzed by lack of common sense. I love the fact that any time the weather here changes suddenly no one knows how to drive or act. Take yesterday. We've known for two days that we were in for a snow storm and fluctuating temperatures around zero which would cause the snow to melt and then freeze. Yet there was no consideration of perhaps salting the major hills or highways. But the next day I came out of a meeting and walked by a window only to see this:.
