http://twistedterrain.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Wargaming scenery "How to"'s aimed at 15mm scale. Tuesday, 4 December 2012. After taking my long flames sabatical, i was painting honest, I was finally back in the pew or driving seat. Praying to the flames dice gods has returned, and about time too, this being my third, yes third game of the new V3 rules, the club adopted the new ones within the first month of release, it shows how out of action i've been. To the game, sorry about the lack of turn photos, you'll get the gist hopefully. Turning tail and ...

Restless Wargamer: November 2011
http://restlesswargamer.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 15 November 2011. Finally I have cracked my Nurgle Lord! It struck me whilst reading the feedback I received on warseer how important it is to embrace the critique of others and try and constantly improve your ideas and technique. I have a very strong vision for most of my projects, but it's helpful to have an outsiders point of view once in a while. With that in mind I tried one more version of the lords head. I also got some more accurate colour representation photos. Sunday, 13 November 2011.

Restless Wargamer: Big Cats and small men
http://restlesswargamer.blogspot.com/2011/12/big-cats-and-small-men.html
Wednesday, 28 December 2011. Big Cats and small men. After a break from painting 15mm soldiers I decided that it was high time I opened the boxs of German forces I had 'on ice'. My original plan was to build a SS Genpanzerte Panzergrenadier force, but of course like most hobbyists of all forms, distraction is our biggest enemy. So now I find myself with 5 Tiger 1E's sat on my desk and various other platoons that I had never really considered. Gepanzerte Panzergrenadiers (full platoon). This blog will fea...

Restless Wargamer: September 2011
http://restlesswargamer.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, 29 September 2011. Warriors of Chaos conversions and scratch built bits. I am going for as many conversions as I can imagine in my Chaos army. Although this will prolong the length of the project I think the reward will be worth it. So this is a Tzeentch bsb, the sword is intended to represent a daemon sword that's in control as much as the champion wielding it is. His head is getting turned in to a hawk/eagle mutation. Wednesday, 21 September 2011. This is my attempt at a Tervigon, it took wha...

Restless Wargamer: April 2012
http://restlesswargamer.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, 19 April 2012. Had these done for a while, so thought it was about time I took a couple of pics. The branches are Lichen dipped in a 50/50 mix of brown paint and acrylic varnish which is left to dry. Then pva painted on where I wanted leaf cover which it is then dipped in to, which happens to be dried herbs. The snow is a 50/50 mix of GW's and GF9 snow flocks. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Restless Wargamer: Big cats and small men part 2
http://restlesswargamer.blogspot.com/2012/01/big-cats-and-small-men-part-2.html
Monday, 2 January 2012. Big cats and small men part 2. Just a quick update on the vehicles. As mentioned in the previous post I am painting my Axis forces in a winter setting. The vehicles are at a stage when I feel it's worth showing a couple of them, I'm using the hairspray technique for weathering the winter white wash. For those that are unaware of the stages involved I have listed them after the pics. 2: Base coat, I used Tamiya XF-60 (Dark Yellow). 3: Gloss varnish the entire model. Antenocitis wor...

Restless Wargamer: Finished Tigers
http://restlesswargamer.blogspot.com/2012/03/finished-tigers.html
Sunday, 25 March 2012. Finally found some time to finish of the Tigers. The weathering is a combination of pigments, washes and drybrushing. I don't really have a system but some of the pigment was 'knocked back' with isopropanol on a cotton bud. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). This blog will feature my many projects across the varied gaming interests that I pursue. I hope that it is of some interest to others, thanks for checking it out. All Along The Watchtower.
