Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Mud Run Monterey Bay 2010. I was so excited that Mike was able to join me in California for the 5th annual Big Sur Mud Run in Monterey Bay, California. It is a 5.1 mile obstacle course with mud pits, walls, and army personnel shouting orders at you. My Aunt Jodi, my Dad, and my brother-in-law Jeremy also ran. My cousin Kortney and Brandy were on the sidelines cheering us on. How cute and clean are we before the race? Jeremy is showing some nice form at the beginning of the race.

Sunday, July 11, 2010. Once a year, my brother Todd agrees to take the family to Pineview to play on his boat. Todd only has the patience to take us once. He is single with no kids and isn't used to mine and my sister's kids all over his boat. Todd has gotten better and we have a great time as a family. Thanks Todd! Saturday, April 24, 2010. To help prepare runners for the Ogden Marathon, Striders Running Store puts on a Winter Racing Circuit. It consists of 5 races all increasing in distance to keep runners going through the winter. The courses vary with difficulty while the last two are actual parts of the marathon. Mike participated in these runs. The following are his stats:. Feb 6th 5K - 21:19 (avg 6:51 minute mile). Feb 20th 10K - 46:01 (avg 7:25 minute mile). April 24th 30K - 2:26:25 (avg 7:51 minute mile).
