The engine size is limited to 60 hp for a number of reasons. An electric start 60 hp motor provides lots of speed, (approximately 20 knots (38km/h or 24mph) yet it is light enough so that sailing performance is not compromised. Also, the heavier, higher horsepower engines really eat up gas. Even if you are only interested in sail, you might consider this. Many mountain lakes are long and narrow. They're fun to run down but beating back into the wind might not be something you're interested in....

The main feature of the interior is the large galley that slides fore and aft and locks in several positions. In the forward position (shown as a shadow), there is excellent access to the large rear double berth. Galley in the furthest astern position, tucked into the rear berth. It slides forward into two other positions. Galley in the forward position. Speaking from personal experience, the rear berth is large enough to sleep two adults and small two kids with everyone still having a good night's sleep.

Sailing "No Keys"
Tuesday, March 5, 2013. No Name Harbour, Key Biscayne. This can be an excellent anchorage almost in all wind conditions. When we arrived there were maybe a handful of boats. There were a few cabin cruisers and a few sailboats. The harbor filled up quickly over the next few days and it was party central on the weekend. There is a high end fish restaurant here, a laundry area and lots of picnic areas. Chris and I did a lot of walking here as our bicycles were still mounted on our Deck. This is our "Pet"!
