Laquo; Life is ever changing as Tension Reliever crew looks to the future! Crew of Tension Reliever travels 3000 miles overland. December 31, 2013 by cruise4two. Today is the last day of 2013. It has been a year filled with sailing, family and friends. I thought I would catch you up on what the crew of Tension Reliever has been up to since the last post. We had time for a visit with my sister, Rita and we got to meet her beau Bob. Isn’t seeing family fun? One thing we’ve found as we return to reali...

Sailing takes me away… | sailingtensionreliever

https://sailingtensionreliever.wordpress.com/2013/09/03/sailing-takes-me-away

Laquo; Reflecting on the past as we plan the future! Life is ever changing as Tension Reliever crew looks to the future! Sailing takes me away…. September 3, 2013 by cruise4two. The marina itself is quiet and adds to the tranquility that you find along the walkways. The staff has been fabulous and James, the manager, knows all and is more that willing to share. He’s been a great asset and a true southern gentleman. On September 3, 2013 at 6:54 pm. The Captains work truly is never done. Being statesid...

And away we go…magical times at sea | sailingtensionreliever

https://sailingtensionreliever.wordpress.com/2013/07/07/and-away-we-go-magical-times-at-sea

Laquo; Life is sweet…pass it on! Overnighting and learning secret code…priceless. And away we go…magical times at sea. July 7, 2013 by cruise4two. The best one is included. Jack and I decided to make lemonade out of lemons so we spent the day at the Turtle Hospital. Captain Rick checked on the boat a few times during the day and then about 4:00 PM they called and said they were ready to launch. We once again headed across A1A and checked out our boat. She looked good! THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY.

Laquo; Tension Reliever grounds on the ICW and explores the heavens at Kennedy Space Center. Sailing takes me away…. Reflecting on the past as we plan the future! August 7, 2013 by cruise4two. As you know, Tension Reliever had a new crew member the past several weeks. Our grandson, Jack, spent a total of 27 days aboard and every moment was a delight! Can’t beat that! St Augustine was such a great city to explore and we did plenty of that. Jack wanted to wait until his dad came to explore the fort &#8...

About Us | sailingtensionreliever

https://sailingtensionreliever.wordpress.com/about

We are Rick and Rosanna. Years ago we took an afternoon sailing trip and we were hooked. We spent 2 years cruising the Southeast US and Bahamas in 95,96 and 97. Then it was back to the real world. Now, 13 years later, we are again adventuring into the unknown. For the next several years, this will be our reality. This journey heads us towards home. Kids and Grandkids will follow our progress from the West Coast of California, thru the Panama Canal and then north to the East Coast of the US. About Us sail...

DoolittleCruising: Former Floating Frat House Surgery and What Could Have Been

http://doolittlecruising.blogspot.com/2014/04/currentlocation-sacramento-ca.html

Friday, April 4, 2014. Former Floating Frat House Surgery and What Could Have Been. A recent event at the Frat House seems to have warranted a blog entry and reminded Ben and I to be grateful for something we tend to take for granted; our children’s health. So as the hours progressed, we anxiously, watched our child become increasingly ill. At one point our eyes met and without uttering a word, we concurred on one simple notion. This is not an exaggeration and we have no idea how it happened, but our chi...

DoolittleCruising: Big Fish, Little Pond-Traveling Up the Eastern Seaboard

http://doolittlecruising.blogspot.com/2013/07/big-fish-little-pond-traveling-up.html

Thursday, July 4, 2013. Big Fish, Little Pond-Traveling Up the Eastern Seaboard. Current Location: Annapolis, Maryland. HAPPY 4TH OF JULY! The previous blog entry left off in Key West, Florida where we began our sail up the Eastern Seaboard of the good, old U-S of A. I had forgotten how different cruising is here versus foreign countries. One huge obvious difference is that well.…life is EASY! However, when we were REALLY stuck, Ben would enact the "We Need More Tipping! This involves using a line from t...

Follow the travels of Trisha and Derrick on the west coast of Mexico aboard our sailboat Interabang. Friends along the way. Where are we now? Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Bighorn Sheep on Isla Carmen. On one of our morning explorations we were hiking to the back of an arroyo (canyon) when we stumbled across one of the sheep’s watering holes.
