Preparing For The Texas 200. Monday, May 12, 2014. The Great Dinghy Trial. May 12, 2014. Today another major milestone was reached in out preparation for the Texas 200. Gene has been building a dinghy, and today was launch day. The good news is that it floats. For those of you who don't know Gene, there was little doubt that it would. So, with Gene's tasks being done I will go aboard tomorrow and put all the non-perishables in place, make sure we have all the safety devices required, and put the finishin...

Preparing For The Texas 200. Thursday, June 12, 2014. Day After the Texas 200. Day After The Texas 200. When Gene and I arrived back at the slip last night I had no idea how exhausted I was. I had to push myself to take a shower and get ready to go to supper. Gene learned that several other boats had dropped out and that the previous day several of the ducks had broken rudders, masts and a couple had actually capsized. All appaently had recovered and continued on with the regatta. View my complete profile.

Preparing For The Texas 200: Final Prep Day

http://www.sailingthesuns.blogspot.com/2014/06/final-prep-day.html

Preparing For The Texas 200. Sunday, June 8, 2014. It's the final prep day before the start of the Regatta. It was warm last night sleeping in the boat and then about 3 am we had a sudden, swift, and only momentary downpour. Gene quickly got up and shut the upper hatch so nothing really got wet. After the rain it did get cooler and the crew got some much needed sleep. I will blog each day, but posting will depend on the availability of cell service. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Day 3 The Texas 200.

About

http://www.sailingthesuns.com/about.html

On August 21, 1993 Gene and I had our first date on Rainbow Chaser. Gene and his son James were living aboard at Yacht Harbor on Lake Travis. One year later on August 13, 1994 we were married on the bow of the boat. After 36 hours of howling winds and 18 ft seas we sailed into Port Aransas, only find ourselves almost grounded on the beach. Zach w...

Thursday, May 30, 2013. My Radiance of the Seas Adventure. In February this year I had the privilege to sail on the Radiance of the Seas. This was a 5 night cruise from Sydney - Newcastle - Brisbane return to Sydney. This is a quick getaway which requires no passport or much time off work. Between certain hours),. Joomla gallery extension by joomlashine.com.

Middot; autism spectrum disorder. OMG Not Another Electronic Toy. September 15, 2016. September 12, 2016. Flashing lights, tons of buttons, and rhyming songs Oh My…God get it out of my house! The electronic toys are adorable and fun, but for a child with ASD (autism spectrum disorder), they become hyper focus prisons.
