Saints & Sinners
http://saints--sinners.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Sitting at my desk in my Uni halls, with the time fast approaching 1am, I am really starting to get withdrawal symptoms. In 12 hours time I would normally be getting ready to leave for the match, instead I shall be god knows how many miles away in rainy Sheffield! I moved here two weeks ago to start my degree in Journalism and, not unexpectedly, the only thing I truly miss from back home is Saints (sorry friends and family). So sing one for me and be the 12th man - COYR! Posted by peach, 1:08 am link.

Southampton 1 Panathinaikos 1. Well what can I say about the Panathinaikos game? Not a lot really. It was good to see the team back at St. Mary’s again but the game did not quite live up the hype. A huge burden however felt like it was lifted off my shoulders before the kick-off with the parading of Skacel. We all knew it was going to happen and thank god it finally did as it really got the crowd going! Anyway was a good day out if not anything else and it was good to be home! Was strong down the right a...

Saints & Sinners
http://saints--sinners.blogspot.com/2006/07/welcome.html
Well, here I am. I have been a die hard Saints fan since for over ten years and was a season ticket holder up until last season. Therefore at the dawn of a new era for the club I felt obliged to start a blog to publish my thoughts and views on the club. I have been with the club to the highest peaks, and the lowest troughs but I am in no doubt that this season we will start to see change. In the coming weeks I hope to post interviews, news and views so please let me know what you think. All the best, J.

Saints & Sinners
http://saints--sinners.blogspot.com/2006/10/one-nil-to-sheepshaggers.html
One nil to the sheepshaggers! There I was sitting, in a plush little bar up in Sheffield watching the Real Madrid and Manchester United games simultaneously when my phone vibrates. It read ‘One nil to the sheepshaggers! When I had last checked my phone ten minutes earlier we looked as if we were heading for a good point, but obviously things had taken a late turn for the worse. Not only had things changed over the past few minutes but seemingly over the past few games too. As a student I am sure you will...

Thursday, November 02, 2006. Saints FA Cup 1976 footage. Found the following links showing Saints parade the FA Cup around Southampton. In 1976 and some further footage of Mick Channon's testimonial. Game a few days later. Check out the haircuts and Bobby Stokes receving a "Quality" car for scoring the winning goal in the final. For those who don't know Saints beat Man Utd 1-0 (my Grandad missed the goal being scored as he was going for a pee. oops! Posted by Boyzee at 8:55 PM. View my complete profile.

Tuesday, September 26, 2006. Not quite up to Andy's dancing standards, but pretty good all the same! Posted by Boyzee at 8:53 PM. Sunday, September 24, 2006. Congratulations to Europe on spanking the yanks in the Ryder Cup 18 1/2 - 9 1/2! Obviously an emotional moment for Darren Clarke. The guy's got a lot of guts after losing his wife 6 weeks ago. The crowd gave him an amazing reception and he played some fantastic golf. Posted by Boyzee at 5:28 PM. Posted by Boyzee at 5:16 PM. Hoping to hear the heartb...

Thursday, October 26, 2006. Another year older, another year wiser? Went into London for dinner with a few very good friends. (The Earls, The Haines, The Pudneys, The Thompsons and Jamie), unfortunately Rach couldn't make due to a bad neck and The Sansoms pulled out as Chris had tonsillitis (Chris - get the bloody things taken out! A good time was had by all (I think), although why the desire to order brandy, Armagnac and Calvados came over us God only knows. A few photos can be found here. I know it's n...

Boyzee Blog: December 2006

Monday, December 11, 2006. 31 weeks gone, only 9 to go, can't wait! We've finally started buying some baby stuff, and going to NCT classes to learn about the birth and what to do with it after it arrives. I'd really recommend them although it's only when you start talking about you realise how little you know! Only slightly less expensive than my first car, let's hope it doesn't break down in the first 6 months and get sent to the scrap yard! Posted by Boyzee at 5:46 PM. View my complete profile.
