Hang 10,000: Music Of The Night
http://sandytosnowy.blogspot.com/2008/05/music-of-night.html
A California girl living, working and breathing in Minnesota. Friday, May 2, 2008. Music Of The Night. I love American Idol. And this season, I especially love David Cook. Did you see what he did with "Billy Jean? C'mon, what's not to love. Aaron just looked at me and responded: "That really hurt my feelings.". You can look, but you can't touch. or talk. Hang 10,000: Treadmill Tribulations
http://sandytosnowy.blogspot.com/2008/04/treadmill-tribulations.html
A California girl living, working and breathing in Minnesota. Friday, April 11, 2008. Why is running on the treadmill so difficult? It doesn't make any sense to me because running outside is blissfully easy compared to running on the treadmill. When I'm outside I don't start giving into my pain until my nifty GPS dealy on my wrist says that I've ran 10 miles. When I'm inside, its a different story. Just the other weekend 10 miles felt like a warm up. I'm going to be like every other Minnesotan and chalk ...

Karma Cowgirl: Habit and Darth 'Vator
http://karmacowgirl.blogspot.com/2008/04/habit-and-darth-vator.html
I don't just believe in karma. I like to help it out. Habit and Darth 'Vator. The past two weeks have been the kind of extraordinarily busy weeks when I run out of time to see what's right in front of my face. You know, the sort of day when you leave the office so wrapped up in planning the next day that you find yourself halfway home before you realize you've been driving? That kind of busy. The kind where I get stuck in habit. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Something like an ancho-chile truffle: R...

Hang 10,000: April 2008
http://sandytosnowy.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
A California girl living, working and breathing in Minnesota. Friday, April 25, 2008. A few nights ago, it was 70 degrees and amazingly sunny. Of course, since I have been deprived of warm weather for like.ever.I made Aaron promise to eat dinner with me on our balcony. We have a nice balcony. It looks over this pretty marsh land and we see deer and hear crickets all day long. Also, thanks to Aaron's parents, we have an outdoor couch with weather-proof cushions. Doesn't sound too shabby, right? It doesn't...

I don't just believe in karma. I like to help it out. Gotta check it out. Trust me. It's a really, really cool cause, and I could really, really use any support you can offer. Warm fuzzy thoughts count as support, too. Love to you all. ;). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Something like an ancho-chile truffle: Ranging from sweet to very dark with a little bit of bite. Hang 10,000: Seriously?
http://sandytosnowy.blogspot.com/2008/04/seriously.html
A California girl living, working and breathing in Minnesota. Thursday, April 10, 2008. It is supposed to snow 7 inches tomorrow. Tomorrow is also the day that I am supposed to run 16 miles. That means that I will be running at 5 am in almost a foot of snow for three hours. Hooray! And after my second diet coke and rum with grenadine, Donna, Muss and Fish ask if they can ask us a few questions that they'll air in the morning. Since we were feeling pretty good, Sarah and I agreed! Our big panther cat!

Hang 10,000: Back To The Marshland
http://sandytosnowy.blogspot.com/2008/05/back-to-marshland.html
A California girl living, working and breathing in Minnesota. Monday, May 12, 2008. Back To The Marshland. With stress taking over my body, last weekend Aaron and I decided to head out to Two Harbors to get away from it all. We spent two days hiking, scrabbling, relaxing and eating in a lakeside cottage. It was heaven. At night, we took our glasses of wine down to the water and sat in Adirondack chairs. It was perfection. Next life goal: to live by the water.can I commute from Duluth to work?

I don't just believe in karma. I like to help it out. Memorializing, or While the Cats are Away. In honor of Memorial Day, I'd like you to meet Carl, or "Bubby", as his friends called him. And now for something completely different. The St. Paul Saints have given me several compelling reasons to live over the years. The Larry Craig Bobblefoot. Is the newest one. I love irreverence. Here's some more of it. 1 This is me at work. 2 This is a lady I know. 3 This is just plain funny. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Karma Cowgirl: Finally Feelin' Like Summer
http://karmacowgirl.blogspot.com/2008/06/finally-feelin-like-summer.html
I don't just believe in karma. I like to help it out. Finally Feelin' Like Summer. The point, as it turns out, is just to keep looking. Thing 1 seemed to have had a very accomplished sort of day, illustrated by my favorite summer moment yet. Nothing like hard-earned exhaustion and a second of well-deserved rest to usher the season to its blossom. No matter what the sky says, it's summer. Can't fool me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
