I have had very little time to bake lately, so it was a treat to enjoy the scent of batter wafting through the house. Joe was out of town on his actual birthday, so we were happy to ring in the new year yesterday afternoon. His celebration means we are back in the season of birthday bliss! Succulent and flavorful, this dish was the star of our recent family dinner in celebration of Carson's 16th birthday.
