Just a little nothing. Monday, October 31, 2005. A question, gentle readers. If you were me, and this were your duvet cover, what color sheets would you buy? I've got white ones, which I like, but I can't handle the "one set" stress anymore. You know, where you decide it's time to wash them, and you throw them in the wash, and then you get home at 9:30 at night and eat dinner and watch some 24 (because you're addicted, yes? You have no back up set. Okay, so I'm not quite that bad, but I live in fear.

Wednesday, August 24, 2005. Booga Bag Number 3. Black Sheep Bags free pattern. 3 skeins of Noro Koreyon in colorway 153. Addi Turbo circulars in 10 1/2 for the bag, and bamboo double pointed needles in 10 1/2 for the i-cord. Otherwise known as Top Secret Project 4. I did my usual and knitted the i-cord at the start of the third skein, then just knit all the rest of the yarn onto the bag. Felted using jeans, which took it back to only needing 2 washes. As a birthday gift for my sister.

Wednesday, August 24, 2005. Told to me by Lynn at City Knits. Cast on 8 stitches with two yarns held together. Slip first stitch knitwise, K7. Repeat until you almost run out of yarn. Bind off. 1 ball each of Plymouth Nocturne 1967 and Trendsetter Dune 95. Otherwise known as Top Secret Project 3. Started knitting with size 15s, wasn't nearly lacey and holey enough, so ripped it out, and started again with the 19s. A very quick knit - took me about 2 hours max. As a birthday gift for my sister.
