It's a String ThingChallenge: Picking Up the Pace ~ Again
http://stringthingchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/12/picking-up-pace-again.html
It's a String Thing. Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Picking Up the Pace Again. Here is a top that I completed last year when we had our snow storm here in Raleigh, NC. You can link back to see the post here. I just finished quilting it and also made a super terrific monogrammed burp cloth to go along with it. This one goes to a sweet baby in the Soldier's Angeles Organization. I ♥ the backing on this one. Labels: ice blue string quilt. December 8, 2010 at 1:49 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Where love of home and sea meet. Add Color to Your Life Maine Cottage Giveaway. Friday, October 18, 2013. Use your (arrow) keys to browse. Let’s clear up a color misconception… Coastal cottage decor does not necessarily mean muted pastels and lack of color. When you look out at the ocean what do you see? You see a gorgeous palette of azure, cobalt, turquoise, sunny gold, vibrant sea grass greens, and a rich, bold rainbow of hues from beach umbrellas, towels, and swimsuits. That is unheard of! The bathroo...

It's a String ThingChallenge: String Challenge #2 ~ Patriotic String Quilt
http://stringthingchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/06/string-challenge-2-patriotic-string.html
It's a String Thing. Friday, June 4, 2010. String Challenge #2 Patriotic String Quilt. This is Rita and this is my second string quilt. I started this quilt way back in March, and I thought Memorial Day weekend was a good time to finish it up. It measures 52 x 66 inches so it's a fairly good size. I’ll be donating this quilt to the Quilts of Valor program. Seems everyone enjoys making these string quilts as much as I do. I just love seeing all the projects . they're all so inspiring! What a great quilt!

To make the blocks that chevron, you layer two blocks right sides together with the strips running the same direction. How beautiful. ...

Through The Eyes Of A Quilter. Buy Cool Stuff Here! The 2014 Crumb Quilt Challenge. February 1, 2014 at 5:20 am. Diana wrote in after the January 1st newsletter. Asking about sewing room organization and we got into a nice discussion about fabric storage. Ultimately she was looking for a way to store and USE UP tiny scraps leftover from other projects. It got me thinking. Then, last week I met Megan Null at the Santa Clarita Valley Quilt Guild. She was in my Twisted Sisters. Back in the 80’s I had ...
