The Amazing Olsen Family: October 2009

Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Emergency Essentials Food Storage Analyzer. I like food storage. We are working this year on really building it up. We have enough wheat for the two of us for more than a year! But, how about everything else? But, it does cover a lot of other things. I am not totally sure if I included everything we have because I wasn't sitting down with a list of items, although I did refer to my pantry often, but it says that we have enough food for 163.66 days! Good thing we like bread.

Monday, June 20, 2011. Baby Food.really, this is a post about baby food. I know what you are thinking.you want to hear more about Jessica or Mt. Rushmore or something else. Anything is more exciting than baby food. But, do you know that there are many people who don't make their own baby food? And do you know how easy it is? For a lot cheaper? But, I don't do that. Instead, I'll just write a post about it and feel better. Then, just pour them into ice cube trays and freeze them. Dump them into freezer ba...

The Amazing Olsen Family: You Know Better Than I
http://amazingolsenfamily.blogspot.com/2011/04/you-know-better-than-i.html
Tuesday, April 19, 2011. You Know Better Than I. Everywhere in nature we are taught the lessons of patience and waiting. We want things a long time before we get them, and the fact that we wanted them a long time makes them all the more precious when they come." - Joseph F. Smith. I love this quote! Joseph King of Dreams. But I remember hearing this song (. You Know Better Than I. From it last year, and I loved it immediately! I thought I did what's right. I thought I had the answers. So I put up a fight.

The Amazing Olsen Family: Happy Easter
http://amazingolsenfamily.blogspot.com/2011/04/happy-easter.html
Friday, April 22, 2011. The Olsen family is ready for Easter! We are excited for Jessica to celebrate her first one, and she has loved it so far. Actually, Jessica only enjoyed dyeing the Easter eggs for a little bit. They were more fun to eat, so she got a little sad when we kept taking them away to dye them. But, when all else fails, just blow some bubbles and the day gets better immediately! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). More Amazing Families Hoping to Adopt. You Know Better Than I.

We have had an amazing summer and well, that means this post will be wrapped up quickly so I can move on to posting about other things. But I did want to document some of it. There really isn't a lot to see when you are walking around Keystone, but we had fun. We stopped at this ice cream shop called Turtle Town. They also had the World's Biggest Peanut Butter Cup, and it was huge! Mt Rushmore.Part 2.

The Amazing Olsen Family: November 2010

Monday, November 8, 2010. A Tale of Two Years. This year, I kind of felt like a slacker for Halloween. I had decorated early, but that was about it. I didn't know what I was doing for Jessica's costume until the night before when we had our ward Halloween party. Mine wasn't even a costume.just random clothes I once bought at DI for a dance at BYU. Andrew's was a partial repeat of last year's. We didn't even carve our pumpkins although we had some from our garden. How can she be this cute?

Monday, January 25, 2010. How to make a Sticky Post. So, Andrew and I have been wanting to put a sticky post (the first post on the page that always remains there) on our adoption blog for awhile. I had no idea how to do it. I had no idea it was called a sticky post even.until today. And you want to know something? It was a piece of cake! First, there are actually two options: 1) the post is centered and directly underneath your header; 2) the post is in the same position and format as your other posts.

The Amazing Olsen Family: Mommy's Little Helper
http://amazingolsenfamily.blogspot.com/2011/04/mommys-little-helper.html
Saturday, April 30, 2011. Jessica is the greatest little helper in the world! She loves to help me decorate. She helps me make the bed. She helps me fold all the laundry. And throw it into the dryer (she is the perfect height for this job). And, she always picks up her books, toys, and spices when she is done playing with them. I love my little helper! I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! April 30, 2011 at 6:02 PM. I cant get over how cute she is- and shes got great hair! April 30, 2011 at 9:13 PM.
