Louisiana – samantha in denmark
https://samanthaindenmark.wordpress.com/2016/04/19/louisiana
Before I got to Copenhagen, I kept hearing about this modern art museum called Louisiana. Just to clear up any confusion, it is not named after the state in America. I’m not generally one to attempt to interpret modern art, so I wasn’t going to go out of my way to get to this museum. Luckily, my Danish Language and Culture class was going for a field study one day! April 19, 2016. April 19, 2016. Danish Language and Culture. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Norway Fjords – samantha in denmark

Everyone, drop what you are doing right now and go to Norway. I can assure you that you won’t regret it. This past week was my final travel break of the semester, and I spent it in the fjords of Norway ( DIScovery trip. Offered by DIS). It was without a doubt one of the best trips of my life, and I wouldn’t have wanted to spend it any other way. We had salmon, a nut roast, vegetables, lamb leg jerky, cheese, and lots of potatoes. Dessert was pancakes with jam and cream. Casual view with lunch. Today was ...

I’m not crying. You’re crying (Last Two Wine Classes). I’m very saddened to be writing this blog post because I know it means that my wine class is over. Just so everyone knows, the first time I’ve actually cried this semester was after my last wine class. I’m getting nostalgic just thinking about it. Future DIS students: take this class. Please. Even if you know nothing about wine or think that you hate it. NV) Paulinshof, Sekt Brut. Region: Mosel, Germany. Region: Wachau, Austria. Rather tasty. Lem...

The Incorvaia Insight | Welcome to my blog, where I record my thoughts and my life. Life is good.
Welcome to my blog, where I record my thoughts and my life. Life is good. February 3, 2014. Super Bowl 2014 — ads, football or food? I’m not a football aficionado, but I was rooting for the Seattle Seahawks all night based upon their energetic fans and my disdain for Peyton Manning who always looks like he wants to murder someone. Thankfully, as you all probably know, the Seahawks won 43-8 against the Denver Broncos. And who cares if people suddenly preferred the Pepsi sitting at their Super Bowl party a...

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. (1 Peter 3:3-4). August 18, 2015. August 18, 2015. Today marks one week since I’ve given birth to my perfectly precious baby girl. We had went shopping for picnic food and drinks. Had everything packed and ready to load in the van. By 2:30 I w...

Samantha in Formosa
Saturday, May 4, 2013. Taiwan Touch Your Heart. There is SOME truth in advertising. When I left Taiwan back in November, I knew I’d be back again some day. All my good deeds and positive karma joined together with the forces of the universe, and it worked out perfectly for me to return to Formosa before heading off to Vietnam. As I stepped off the plane in Taipei, I was transported back to my first arrival on the island. Except this time, I had family waiting for me; just like coming home! Taking in the ...
