Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Tanabata matsuri, a Japanese festival. I think the most special part of attending this festival was wearing the yukata (summer version of the kimono) my grandmother made for my mother. My grandmother is so talented when it comes to sewing and Japanese traditional kimonos and yukatas. Saturday, February 28, 2015. Bloggers' brunch at Pure Cafe, Minami-Aoyama. This morning, I met up with fellow blogger Yuka of Blossomlink. For a healthy brunch at Pure Cafe. In Minamiaoyama, a very quiet neighborhood in Tokyo. I hadn't seen her since we went to the Espirit Dior after party. What a great way to start the weekend and enjoy some down time with a fellow blogger! I will have an OOTD post from today soon :). Sunday, August 9, 2015. Some of the artists performing that day were BENI, C&K and Crystal Kay, to name a few. I've always been a fan of Crystal, a half Japanese and half black J-pop singer. And seeing her live for the first time was amazing! Even though her set was only 30 minutes, she got the crowd going, sang many of her hits, and was just overall a huge crowd pleaser. My beloved Powerbook G4 from 2005 died after countless trips to home to NY, traveling to and from school, accidental drops and tumbles off of desks and my bed, and an overwhelming amount of song downloads and photo editing, oh well.
