Rasmussen Family: August 2011
http://kirkandjody.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 15, 2011. This year we decided to stop in Salt Lake City for a couple of days. We pass through SL every year but our kids have never been to Temple Square. Well this was the year! We rented a condo across from the Temple. It was awesome. We walked most everywhere. Toured the Conference Center. Watched the Joseph Smith Movie in the JS Memorial Building. Kirk only watched half of it because Emma got stuck upside down in the folding chairs and had to be taken out. Visited the Church Museum.

The Pike Family: Doors, windows... escape hatches?
http://pike2008.blogspot.com/2010/09/doors-windows-escape-hatches.html
Monday, September 20, 2010. Doors, windows. escape hatches? In life, when one door closes. You stand around in the hallway, not sure what to do. There’s gotta be an open door around here somewhere…. Jared applied for the U.S. Border Patrol a few weeks ago but didn’t pass the written exam. While this is certainly not the end of the world, it does throw a wrench or two in the gears. We’re back to the drawing board. *HEAVY SIGH*. Hopefully on vacation. That would be nice.). Time has amazing perspective.

Thursday, October 27, 2011. Wow, we haven’t posted since January! I’ve been feeling really boring lately, like my life has gotten into a rut and we haven’t done anything exciting in a while. (Boohoo, throw yourself a pity party, right? Looking back, I realize that LOTS of stuff has happened since January! I guess I’m not so boring after all.just belated! March was a busy month- we traded in the truck for a YELLOW car! In July we went up to Utah for a mini family reunion when Ammon came home from his miss...

Rasmussen Family: Playful Pals
http://kirkandjody.blogspot.com/2012/06/playful-pals.html
Friday, June 29, 2012. Katelyn and her friend have been doing a summer camp for 3-4 year olds. This is something they started doing last year and had such a great time that she decided to do it again. Last week they did “Shop Day” . Katelyn made these wallets. And the kids decorated them with fabric markers. Each wallet had paper money inside, printed on green cardstock. . Their wallets went along with THIS. Next they cleaned pennies. . They played water games in the sprinklers, ate rice krispy stars,.

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Pumpkin carving for the first time in several years. This was the first time Carter and Emma got to dig out pumpkin seeds, how exciting! They actually didn't like the feel of it and had to wash their hands right away. This year we even roasted our pumpkin seeds for a little snack. Emma and Mom= carriage for Cinderella. Carter and Dad= scary face. Kaleb= scary face 2. Here are the superstars. Each of their costumes fit their personalities perfectly! I love his little undies :).
