Samuel Hulick | User Onboarding Expert
I'm a UX designer reporting worldwide from beautiful Portland, OR. I'm particularly passionate about User Onboarding. So much so that I run a website dedicated to it. And have just published an entire book on it. Speaking of which, I also write quite a lot on Medium.com in a collection called Designing for Results. My favorite part about UX design is finding out how much things were improved (I ♥. A/B testing and iterations). Want to know how good? Made by Samuel Hulick.

Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Have you ever just looked at ants? They're amazing little critters. An ant lives the first third of its life underground, in tunnels, always close to its sisters (all ants in the nest are female), in total darkness. Then one day it crawls out of the ant hill, and there's daylight, and the world is HUGE! Giant stompy feet everywhere! Other insects that want to Om nom nom it for lunch. But that ant doesn't pause for even a moment. It just goes for it. Thursday, January 31, 2013.

February 11, 2010 · 3:15 am. I saw today (actualy yesterday because it’s after midnight) a documentary about polar bear. It showed a polar bear attacking a troop of walrus (see picture below) because it was ungry. Then a voice said that more and more polar bear end this way each year. Because of human activity, they have fewer food, and need to attack more dangerous preys. In 2030, there shouldn’t be anyone left. I know that what I wrote is not politically correct, and I should better have written someth...
