From the sublime to the ridiculous. Saturday, 4 August 2012. Yes, I was an Olympic cynic. But I bloody love the Olympics. London, GBR, Ennis, the cyclists, the rowers, Danny Boyle's opening ceremony – just superb. I am immensely proud. Links to this post. The gist of it: inspiration. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mellifluous Dark: April 2011
http://mellifluousdark.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
From the sublime to the ridiculous. Thursday, 14 April 2011. They're not just for Easter. Is it just me that believes Cadbury creme eggs were available all year round in the 70s and 80s? They aren't Easter fayre, are they? Do I have false Cadbury's memory syndrome? Links to this post. The gist of it: food and drink. Wednesday, 13 April 2011. There is an organisation that purports to bring together women who are about to have babies. It sometimes even welcomes the men in their lives, acknowledging. My fri...

Circa Me: I am the Tintin
http://zasmine-circa-me.blogspot.com/2014/06/i-am-tintin.html
Wednesday, June 4, 2014. I am the Tintin. You came from Brussels. You lived with keys, keys to my places, keys to other’s places. Of course, you are the detective; there are no locks for you. And then there was the more grotesque death in store for you. What was worse was me dragging you around even after you died. I dragged your weight around. I didn’t feel the weight of you around my shoulders like an albatross but I smelt the weight of it. Did you leave like Herge left Tintin and Alph Art? Why is it so.

Circa Me: Another shirt
http://zasmine-circa-me.blogspot.com/2014/03/another-shirt.html
Sunday, March 2, 2014. So much detail. But not like the detailed lines on your palm. There is no quirk, no surprise to this detail. It looks like a regular product post the Industrial Revolution. Mass produced- the same shirt with the same little 'shells'. Episodic, repetitive. Indistinguishable. Excelling in its quality for it's uniformity. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). BrainDrops: November 2009
http://brain--drops.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Things that randomly fall out of my head. Monday, November 23, 2009. All I Want for Christmas is a Laparoscopic Myomectomy. While I won't withdraw my concerns noted in an earlier posting regarding soy milk, I feel that I must update this blog with the latest on my 'situation'. I have been diagnosed with a large fibroid tumor in my uterus, and this, not the soy milk, is what is causing my cycles to go wild. So ultimately, I must apologize to soy milk.somewhat.but I will continue to avoid you in my...Exper...

Things that randomly fall out of my head. Sunday, August 22, 2010. New York, New York (yes, again). On a more practical note, and the answer to the question of 'Where the Heck Have I Been'.I've been busy. Busy. Busy. Busy. Yes, aren't we all. My particular brand of 'busy' has involved a promotion at work (new CEO, departure of my boss, new position and title for me, now managing 20-30 people, yikes! I feel like I landed in a tub full of NYC, marinated in it and soaked in as much as possible in 4 days....
