Tetralogy of Fallot – Our Story. 21 July, 2015 5:59 am. I had a moment this morning where I jumped out of bed at 6am, after my farmer husband trundled off to work, and I thought “The Tomatoes! 8221; We had left the trays of dehydrating tomatoes on the back deck, drying out all night. Now they are tomato flakes, after I scraped their sorry brittle remains off of the trays. Still edible. Still useful for soup and sauces on those cold winter nights. But not what we intended. We choose to live these little l...

Tetralogy of Fallot – Our Story. Finally we can sail again! 5 July, 2015 7:26 am. Last year, the couple times we actually got out to sail, she fell asleep every time the engine was on. This year is another new chapter. She’s model 4.5 Sailing Fantastico. She insists on helping us steer. But she looks behind us when she steers. Tetralogy of Fallot – Our Story. Category Archives: Gulf Island Living. And now that September is almost gone! 26 September, 2015 10:57 am. As you can tell from my lack of blogging, September has been busy. I’ve done 4 babies this month. We started another year of homeschooling. Tetralogy of Fallot – Our Story. Category Archives: Just Playing. 30 August, 2015 7:00 am. Charlotte did a beautiful post on our trip to Portland together. You can find it here. Tetralogy of Fallot – Our Story. Category Archives: Living Aboard. The Day after Kitty. 26 April, 2015 7:00 pm. The day after Kitty’s 5th birthday was my birthday. It was also the day that she died. The morning that Kitty’s body was found beside her family’s boat, my body went… numb. Waves of grief wash up , filled me and spilled out. Then I made two pots of soup, baked two loaves of bread and made a double batch of cookies. It was clearly a bit neurotic of me. But I needed to. Behan: http:/ www.sail...

Snapshots From the Greenwood. Laquo; Life in Pictures. March 25, 2013 by jgsmoker. This is a helpful thing for me to think about, as I tend to be focused on the present or short-term future. I don’t spend a whole lot of time remembering what has shaped me, and I am usually quite vague about my long-term plans. Journalling does. Come easily to me. At best, I only occasionally get swept up in the odd bit of nostalgia. This is a bit of an odd thing for someone who is studying history! So: in the beginning.
