America's Largest One-Day Food Drive. Scouting for Food began in 1985 as a community service project in St. Louis, Missouri, and grew to Central Florida in 1988 as part of the organization's national Good Turn for America program, which worked to inspire Scouts and Scout Volunteers to a higher level of service and volunteerism in the community. In 2011, the Central Florida Council collected about 550,000 pounds of food for the Second Harvest Food Bank. For distribution in Central Florida communities.

Chapter C of the Tipisa Lodge was formed from the southwest portion of Chulee Afopkeh which served West Orange District and a southern portion of Econlockhatchee serving Chickasaw District. Members of the new chapter gathered at the Service Weekend for cheerful service to Camp La-No-Che. Together they cleaned up the compound area and prepared for the upcoming camp inspections.
