http://carlastastytreats.blogspot.com/2013/03/cooking-fun-with-oxo-peppermint.html
Sunday, March 24, 2013. Cooking fun with OXO! This winter I was super lucky to get a chance to check out the cutest new measuring set from OXO. For those of you who read this blog and are close friends you may know that I used to be a chemistry teacher. This is why I totally freaked when I saw this new set. Filling the cakes was no fuss because I poured all of the batter into a zip top bag then cut off the corner. Using a baggie as a disposable pastry bag just makes clean up a breeze. Seafood Risotto — @Kokken - A food blog dedicated to my experiments in the kitchen
http://www.atkokken.com/2013/12/28/seafood-risotto
December 28, 2013. Middot; 7 comments. This seafood risotto is inspired by the same dish I ate at Trattoria Za Za. In Florence. I ate there a total of 3 times and had ended up buying their cookbook, authored by Stefano Bondi. Among all the risottos I had eaten, the best were always done with seafood – squid ink, prawns and shellfish. When it comes down to flavours and umami goodness, nothing beats the brininess of squid and clams. As it says on the label of Bar Harbor Clam Juice. 1 small white onion.
