Then we headed to a bowling alley to hang out with our youth group.Tristen bowled for the first time and LOVED it. He wasn't quite as thrilled about laser tag but we'll try again when he's older! The story of the house will come later.I wanted to wait until it was actually OURS! After the closing, we packed our bags as fast as possible to head to my in-laws for Thanksgiving. My husband has not had much time off lately and we were so looking forward to having a holiday off and being together as a family.

Maybe it's a Midwest thing? Anyway, it's called Fun Days and we look forward to it every year. People reserve spots for the parade 1-2 days in advance, the events are well attended, and the community just really gets into it. Tuesday, October 28, 2014. We close on both our houses tomorrow! The sellers of the house we bought graciously let us move in 4 days early so we moved the majority of our things on Saturday. It was SO great seeing our things again and letting the kids play with their long lost toys they haven't seen for at least a few weeks (and many they hadn't seen since we put our house on the market! I think we can just skip Christmas this year since everything is new to them again ;). Getting the U-Haul all packed up.
