Het was heel indrukwekkend om erbij te zijn, want de positieve energie van de menigte was bijna tastbaar, dat maakte dat iets kleins, de duiven of een muziekstuk, mij zo kon raken dat ik weer een paar keer mijn tranen moest wegslikken. De rest hebben jullie op tv kunnen zien. Na afloop zag ik dat ma helemaal weer de "oude" was. de spanning was eraf. Foto's plaats ik op Facebook.

Mistletoe Farm is a Holistic Equine Centre in South Somerset. It was established in 2002 by owner. It is in a peaceful location on the edge of the Blackdown Hills where horses and owners alike enjoy the relaxed, healing atmosphere. The horses are kept as near to nature as possible and treated with a wide range of holistic remedies and treatments.

Many of my pieces incorporate plastic and paper as well as cloth. The cloth I use is recycled from businesses that use fabrics for clothing or home accessories. I embellish the cloth with paints and thread when creating my work. Finding new ways to use old things and not consuming more is something that is at the forefront of my work. Through my art, I hope to bring to the viewer an awareness of consumption, wastefulness, consumerism and a sensitivity to issues that I feel need attention and protection.
