Onsdag den 16. oktober 2013. One more apple cake. Apple cake with cranberries. I am lucky to have several apple trees and some of the apples just have to be used, so I had to bake a cake again…. This one was just something quick, while the oven was still warm:. 1 dl brown sugar (a bit more than 1/3 cup). 1 dl melted butter (3 oz). 1½ dl flour (a bit more than 1/2 cup). 1 tsp baking powder. 1 dl oatmeal (a bit more than 1/3 cup). 1 dl chopped walnuts or pecans (a bit more than 1/3 cup). 189; tsp. salt.

The exhibit is called,. And it looks at the experiences of Latinos in four major Gateways (points of access into community life in urban regions) in the United States. These four Metro areas are: Washington, DC; Raleigh-Durham, NC; Charlotte, NC; and Baltimore, MD. Within the walls of The Smithsonian Anacostia Community Museum.

Thank you for visiting my blog! June 29, 2016. The Basque Book by Alexandra Raij. My rating: 4 of 5 spoons. I have heard of the Basque region, but knew very little about their cuisine until I got this book. It's a fascinating read, and delicious to eat from! There is a wide range of recipes here, from the simple but sublime, to the more complicated and delectable. Classic Spanish Tortilla is a slightly more complicated with multiple flip and turns (which sounds easier than it is! Links to this post.
