May was a tough month for me, but after almost two weeks in two different hospitals, they finally got me back under control. Wednesday, March 4, 2009. It is hard to believe that next month will be one year since my second surgery and June will be two years since my journey began. I think I am doing very well and am happy to say that next week I will celebrate my 54th birthday! There was a time that I dreaded getting older, but not anymore. Monday, February 22, 2010. February is almost over! This has been the month of snow.crazy snow! We had 2 amazingly large storms which caused us to lose power during one, and have damage from ice dams from the other. Although beautiful to look at, I don't have the desire to look at anymore snow this year! He was hospitalized for 4 nights. Thursday, February 26, 2009. My adorable mother turned 80 last week. Larry, Margie, and I went down to visit her in Palm Beach to celebrate together for a few days. My cousin Amy went to Florida too and she along with her mother (Aunt Audrey), and Aunt Joan and Uncle Jerry helped us celebrate the special day. It was great being together. Sunday, October 11, 2009. Is it really October? I can't believe it is really mid October. The time is flying by. I guess that is a good thing. It must mean that I am busy and active, which I am. Test that can identify brain tumors. It is not yet available outside of their clinical groups, but they do have the patent for it. Amazing. Someday everyone will be able to have a non-invasive, inexpensive test that could save their life. Wishing you a fantastic Fall! Posted by sandy spiegel. Is it really October?

Friday, June 19, 2009. An Excellent Report To Share! I had an MRI at Hopkins yesterday and the results are the best I could ask for! There are no signs of anything new (hooray for an empty brain! And the tumor that could not be completely removed surgically is not showing signs of growth! So far we have some tomatoes and peppers. We haven't had to water very much because of the ridiculous amounts of rain we have had recently. Hope you and yours are happy and well! Posted by sandy spiegel.
