Will be placed on co-ed Instructional teams. Instructional players need a lacrosse stick and a mouthguard. Instructional practices will get started in mid-March with games in April/May. Teams have 12 /- players per team. Boys and girls age 7 may be placed on Tyker teams. Required equi pment consists of a regulation men's or women's stick.

Each individual desiring to become a volunteer with SSAA must submit a completed Volunteer Application, Background Check Authorization form, and Fingerprint Authorization form. In addition, if applying for a head coaching position, the prospective candidate shall also submit a completed resume for the respective position. Forms can be found on the Volunteer Registration. Players ages 5 and 6 are eligible to participate in an introductory instructional tackle football program know as "Pitbull". Basic concepts will be taught including proper blocking, tackling, offense and defensive plays . All players must be a minimum of 5 years of age by August 1st of the season they intend to play. Players turning 7 after August 1st of the season are permitted. An MVA or MMYFCL-issued picture identification card is required for proof of age. The Pitbull division does not have playoffs.
