http://christinetacq.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
The ps and qs press. Wednesday, 31 July 2013. There is such a gap since my last post in December 2012! I have been working on a new book to the exclusion of all else - so below are a few highlights going back. I have solved the problem of registration for block printing on silk and linen for the covers of 'Printess and the p'. Look out for p's and q's Press in Marseille in October and at the Oxford Fine Press Book Fair in November! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Christine Tacq Books in the Collection of:.

The ps and qs press. Sunday, 7 September 2014. Leonie in Balfron Tower. Leonie has been very busy in the run-up to her fellowship at the Venice Architecture Biennale. On Monday she moved her print studio to flat 130 in Balfron Tower, 2 doors down from where it's architect Erno Goldfinger lived in 1968. As a part of the work, Leonie has been offering printmaking workshops in her pop-up studio. The first of these, for young artists aged 11-16 took place yesterday to great success. The Language of Things: Hastings Old Town, 2011
http://languageofthings.blogspot.com/2011/04/hastings-old-town-2011.html
The Language of Things. Objects and memories both personal and universal. Friday, 1 April 2011. Hastings Old Town, 2011. A day trip to Hastings nosing around the antique and bric-a-brac shops of the old town, re-focussed my thoughts to the meaning of 'things' and the memories they provoke whether for the owner or the on-looker. Memories for me; as I assume for most, are my way of making sense of this world - who am I? Where do I belong? Who did this belong to? What did it mean to them? Posted by jo abela.

The Language of Things: March 2010
http://languageofthings.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
The Language of Things. Objects and memories both personal and universal. Thursday, 18 March 2010. Following last month's post, I endeavoured to track down Sibyl Ruth and approached her with a view to using some of her poems to inspire artwork/prints for the Thame Arts and Literary Festival in June. More information to follow. Sibyl has very kindly given me the go ahead to produce work in response to her Great Aunt Rose's translated poems. Fantastic! Now the hard work begins! Posted by jo abela.

The p's & q's press: March 2013
http://christinetacq.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
The ps and qs press. Friday, 15 March 2013. Despite language difficulties, thanks to a postcard and some research by my brother and his wife, we found the street where my grandparents lived before 1914. There was no number with the address but maybe a 'Marchand Tailleur' would have been near to the high street, and maybe they lived in something like this rather eccentric looking house.
