A little forum for me and my ramblings. Sunday, April 5, 2015. Been There, Done That. Alleluia! Interesting that this was posted to Drudge on Easter Sunday. Why anyone would want to live forever on this earth, or even 150 years, is beyond me. I love this life, and the people in it, but there is a MUCH better existence waiting for us at the end of this one. They are spending millions looking for ways to live forever. Christ died and rose again to show us the way to do that for free! Tech Titans Defy Death:.

NAPO Code of Ethics. Do You Pay as Much Time to Your Time as You Pay to Your Bills? Mary Cate Claudias, CPO. Perhaps the most widely accepted and most effective time management philosophy is that of Stephen Covey (author of. 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. It’s definitely not a ‘quick fix’; but as they say, ‘Anything worth having, is worth working for’. The basic outline of the Covey approach takes 6 steps. Identify what gives you purpose in life. A little forum for me and my ramblings. Sunday, June 28, 2015. The Highest Court Isn't In The Land. Last week the Supreme Court Of The United States ruled on an issue that has become a national conversation over the past couple of decades: redefining the legal terms of marriage. It is disturbing to feel the rumbles and insecurity within our communities both in the real world and the virtual one, and it is a very serious issue with regard to the Supreme Court. Once again they have ruled on a social is...

A little forum for me and my ramblings. Wednesday, July 30, 2014. He Loves Us, Oh How He Loves Us. Have you ever gotten a note or letter from a special someone? What is that like? You get it and you just can't wait to sit down and read it. You want to be alone with it, and you open it with such anticipation. You look at the handwriting, you think about that person, trying to picture the place and the time in which they were writing. Why did they choose that particular phrase? Who wouldn't want to get som...

A little forum for me and my ramblings. Saturday, July 11, 2015. Like I Was Saying. Links to this post. Thursday, July 9, 2015. So in the interest of making life better, I am examining the ways that I am spending my time, and also the things that I do that take up time, but really aren't worth it, and don't add to the well being of my home and family. I wrote a while ago about how important it is to be present to someone, in a real way, every day. That has been wonderful! Giving people time is really lik...

A little forum for me and my ramblings. Saturday, May 31, 2014. If we really got serious about changing our eating habits around here? Not to lose weight, or get into some crazy self-improvement fad, but to really improve the way that our bodies and minds function? It is an idea that I revisit more often all the time. Obesity is fast becoming a world-wide epidemic. Now, I know people didn't live very long, due to many factors, but food and exercise went hand in hand and there was a LOT of the latter and ...
