Mohs on the Nose. It’s All Good. Posted by: Sapphire Maiden. On: July 16, 2010. My final appointment with my surgeon was Monday, and he said he was happy with how my healing is progressing. Here’s a pic taken today. Compared to one week ago. So I put that on my nose at night. It’s only been two nights, so there are no results to report yet. Mohs on the Nose. That’s A Wrap! It’s All Good. Posted by: Sapphire Maiden. On: August 6, 2010. Today marks eight weeks since the surgery. My nose continues to heal, although I think it’s 90% there now. This pic was taken today and wasn’t Photoshopped. The scar continues to fade, as does the redness. I still use a touch of concealer to even my skintones. Overall, I think it looks pretty good, considering what it looked like just eight weeks ago. 9 Responses to "It’s All Good". Keys Soap Solar Rx Cosmetic Moisturizing Sunblock. It arrived last week and I’ve been using it since. The BIGGEST test was whether it stung my eyes by the end of the day. Good news! I’ve graduated from the nonstick pads and tape to small Band-Aids that can be cut to the perfect size to cover my graft. They’re a lot less hassle, too. Mohs On The Nose. More Rounds Of Mohs Surgery. Remember I said I’m not a good patient? Further proof: Today I decided to shower without putting plastic over my face. My thinking was that, if we’re supposed to clean the wound with water and a Q-Tip, water must not be the problem. I slathered on a thick layer of Vaseline over the entire surgery site and took my normal shower. I didn’t let the water hit my nose, but of course, some did roll down my face. Day 11 Post-Op, Slathered with Antibiotic Cream.
