Machines scare me a little. I'd love to be able to sew more of our own clothes but I don't have the patience to learn. I got as far as measuring and cutting the fabric before this monkey woke from her afternoon nap. We abandoned the sewing and headed out to the park to enjoy the late afternoon sun. Wednesday, 12 December 2012. It's turned pretty chilly here in Umbria so luckily I've just finished this cosy cardigan to keep my wee one warm. The pattern is ' Plain Vest'. It was really easy and quick to knit and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. It's the first time I've knitted an actual garment (apart from scarves! So I'm quite proud of myself! Monday, October 3, 2011. Fly by night. the last week. From last Saturday to today, it has been one of the busiest, longest and hardest weeks we've ever had. Last weekend was great, I met Zane at the tattoo shop and he bought me lunch at the little cafe downstairs, which was beautiful. Then on Tuesday night we went out for dinner and dessert, followed by some video games at this old arcade near the water. It was good old fashioned fun! Love, lm. x. Posted by laura may.
