Thursday, September 18, 2008. Hurricane Ike and come and gone now.we were w/o power from Friday Night at about 6 pm til tuesday night at like 11 pm. Not much damage then other to the yard. The most damage towards me came Friday night/Saturday mornin running face first into a brick wall outside after filling up the generator with gas. That was enjoyable! Jason had to take me to the hospital even tho i'm pretty sure on the way there he was thinking of punchin me in the face to knock me out so i'd shut up!

I have been somewhat offline here recently. My grandmother passed away this week. Today was her funeral and I started thinking about some of the part that she has played in my life. Both of my grandmothers at my wedding in 1998. Some of this was from raising 6 children which must not have been easy at times especially with 5 boys and 1 girl.

Re Quest" (2013): Taking on the challenge of producing a composition that can be considered "traditional" or "classical," I recreated an older piece of mine called "The Quest.". Using more common elements of classical piano, I wanted to create a sonata that can be easily transcribed for the purpose of orchestration.
