Bloom Where You are Planted: Fall Family Photos
http://bloomfieldfamily.blogspot.com/2011/09/fall-family-photos.html
Saturday, September 17, 2011. We had our pictures taken again this year by the talented Rachael Sherwood. She did a great job last year, and we were excited to try out a new venue. We started out in a park in Manitou Springs. Then took a few downtown, by the library and the shops. And finished up at Garden of the Gods. I love living around the beauty of Colorado. I wish I could find a great photographer like that. I Love all of your pictures they are so cute and capture your family perfectly!

Bloom Where You are Planted: Owl City
http://bloomfieldfamily.blogspot.com/2011/07/owl-city.html
Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Rachel and I both share a love for Owl City. His music is cheerful, poetic, creative, and easy to fall in love with. When I found out he was coming to Denver, Rachel and I decided it would be fun to go to the concert. We were excited to realize it was at a somewhat small venue (standing room only). Here's Rachel waiting for the concert to start:. It had been raining a little when we were waiting in line to come in, so imagine a full room, packed with people who were slightly damp.

Thursday, May 26, 2011. David's Arrow of Light. One of the reasons David was so excited to turn 11 was that he would be completing Cub Scouts, receiving his Arrow of Light, and moving on to Boy Scouts. Here he is with his Webelos leader. When Cub Scouts complete the requirements and move on to Boy Scouts they "cross over the bridge". Here's our new Scout Master imparting some words of Wisdom. He is so excited for Scouts! Bloom Where You are Planted: November 2010
http://bloomfieldfamily.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 15, 2010. Recently, I've discovered the world of "hair blogging". People do fun, cute hairstyles on their girls, and then post step by step instructions on how to do them. I've got two cute girls with fairly long hair (and I love to do hair! Here are some of the cute styles that I've done. I can't wait to try something like this for Valentines day. So cute (and really easy). A fun updo - it turned out so pretty and elegant. Here's Emma in some Curlformers. I love these curlers! Here is m...

Bloom Where You are Planted: February 2011
http://bloomfieldfamily.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Snow, 100th day of School and Valentines. So, we got some snow here! I ventured out on Monday (we were in between storms) and got totally stuck in our neighborhood. After we got 8 inches on Sunday, I guess they didn't see the need to send plows to the residential streets. Thanks to a nice neighbor I got home. So, because of the weather, Emma's 100th day of school party kept getting postponed. She finally had it on Feb. 9th and was very proud of the hat she made. For the past f...

Sunday, October 09, 2011. First Snow of the Season. While I was away at Time Out for Women in Denver, the kids and Dad got to enjoy the first snowfall of the season! I think it snowed about 6 inches, but it didn't stick around for long. Looks like Josh is getting ready to throw a snowball at someone. Emma got bundled up! Gotta love that bright, beautiful, blue sky after it snows. Feet in the snow. I'm sure this is the first of many snowfalls to come! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Friday, April 29, 2011. Young Women's Camp Auction. This year for girls camp, our church had an auction where the girls auctioned off services and desserts. Rachel volunteered to make cupcakes. We are kind of new at this (and very sorry that Grandma Margie was not here to help - she's the expert! But here is what we came up with. They looked very yummy and I almost bought them myself! Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Emma had a birthday, shout Hooray! I think she's happy with it. She's easy to please! Young Wome...

Bloom Where You are Planted: Dance
http://bloomfieldfamily.blogspot.com/2011/09/dance.html
Saturday, September 10, 2011. Emma and Rachel both started some dance classes this fall. Rachel did dance when she was very little, then tried a variety of sports, before she decided to try dancing again. With us moving around a lot, we never really had a chance to find a good studio. Luckily, there is a great dance/gymnastics studio right here in Monument. Emma decided to give it a try as well. Emma thinks she likes gymnastics the best, I guess we'll wait and see!
