Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Woot woot to letters! Here's some info on keeping in touch old school style. Letters from the U.S. to Banica can be sent to the following address:. 8400 NW 25 St. Doral FL, 33122. Now did you perchance notice something about that address, hm? Yep, these letters are forwarded from Florida to an address we have in Santo Domingo (the capital). Monday, March 28, 2011. Normal but special nights with my family. LIVING as a missionary in Banica also means sharing in the "normal" experiences of the daily life of the people. I have been blessed to live with such a wonderful host family, who has really become like a family to me in so many ways. Here is Hefredes and Virtudes with sons Nestor (almost 1 yr) and Dani (2 yrs). The other night I was blessed to witness the first steps of baby Nestor! It was so exciting to be a part of such a special event!

The staff at the outreach center and I met today to discuss the possibility of connecting with an organization which would coordinate lawyers from various firms to come to our center to do their pro bono hours. This would mean that once a week, our guests would have the opportunity to discuss their needs with an attorney who may be able to give them some answers or help them find solutions.
